The First Word
The Torah begins with the word Bereishis. It’s usually translated as “In the beginning” but what it really means is, “with beginnings” God created the world. That word is so deep and carries so many levels of meaning that it’s mind boggling. The whole Torah can be balanced on it’s first word. And then you can balance the first word on it’s first letter! In this week’s talk, we look into what we can learn about life from all this.
